Review content:
I heard good things about this place, but was still skeptical. I was an all american track althlete and have had my share of super intense workouts. It takes a lot to challenge me, even years after retiring from competitive sports. But...Rapheal did it. I was fully wiped at the end of the class. It's very high paced. You change exercises every few minutes so you don't get bored. And he (& his staff) are great at giving each person attention throughout the class. He checks your form constantly throughout the class, will inspire you to go up in weight and is great at keeping you in the game mentally. One thing to note...bring a water bottle. you're bound to sweat and you absolutely dont have time to run to a fountain in between exercises. if you forget, you can buy a bottle there. it's also a bargain for what you get, ie, very personalized training,....but more more costly than a gym like equinox.
Pros: intense workout in a small group format, coaches inspire you and correct your form, clean brand new gym, on hip street
Cons: no parking, pricey if compared to monthly gym membership
