The day Centurylink acquired Embarq was the day that our Internet service started being capped. The service would simply turn off at the same time every day. You call them and they tell you to rebooth the modem and it starts to work again for that day. Next day same thing and you call them and they tell you to reboot. The service is constantly cutting in and out. The want you to pay $100 per month, but they don't want to send a repair person to your house of send a replacment modem until you threaten to cancel service. They WANT to string you along just enough that they don't have to give you much Internet bandwidth, but you will still send them a check every month. You call them and they will be perfectly nice, but NOTHING ever gets solved and like I said a in person service call or new modem is always out of the question. They will tell you....""why don't we unplug all of the equipment and reboot after 5 minutes?"" EVERYTIME !!!! I don't have time for that nonsense. They are crooks.
