Review content:
I found Kokua Pet Clinic online. My dog had abscessed teeth and needed oral surgery. The Kaneohe VCA was very expensive and so I put off getting my dog worked on. I love my dog but pay cuts don't leave me any choice. Do I put my dog down because she needs dental work? So I researched online and found Kokua. It cost much less than VCA, and the vet was quick and didn't hit me with unnecessary tests for my dog. She got her teeth worked on and so far is recovering nicely. I can understand why Kaneohe was so expensive...they are open all the time for emergencies and they have a huge facility so their overhead must be astronomical. The Kokua Clinic staff were helpful and friendly and the facility was clean ( I don't know why the one reviewer criticized the cleanliness of the place). Kokua cost was so much less, thankfully I was able to afford care for my dog. I bought my dog 10 years ago as a puppy and money was not as tight as it is now. I'll bet a lot of people are making hard decisions about care for their pets these days. Kokua made it easier.
