My cousins 30th Bday Dinner celebration was supposed to be a joyous occasion but did not turn out to be so When i called Ciao baby 3 weeks prior to make the reservation for about 20 people i was told that they dont accept them...not a prob...but i was informed they can take what they call is a non-reservation????? They employee told me that it would make the waiting time much shorter than what it would normally be. I had no choice but to agree... i felt that the establishment was well worth the wait. So Sat oct 20th arrives and the place is busy as always. I make my way up to the counter and make my self known who i spoke too and that my party was here. So the hostess told me.. ""Okay the party were your going to be seated is eating dessert now... so we'll call you when there done and the tables are ready.. So we wait patiently...eagerliy waiting the table... the twenty plus minutes go by.. I head back to the hostess..the party whom we were wating to depart were still seated...I was assured agian that they were going to come get us... AN HOUR later after patron after came and placed their name was seated....I approched the Hostess and the manager who changed her title to a supervisor when i started questioning the table availablity... She then had the nerve to lie to my face and told me the party whom we were waiting for sat back down... When we witnessd the Leave 30 mins Prior. The table was cleaned and 6 other seperate party were seated while we were waitng.. She assured me that the wait would not be much longer... and when we asked for the manager we were told they are busy at first and then the second time that we just missed him. I Thanked her for her great service as me and my other 20 plus Black American family members left while the white patrons who arrived almost and hour later sat and ate.
