My wife and I pulled into Four Seasons Campground hoping to have a delightful vacation. We pulled in June 22nd,2009 in 110 degree heat index. My wife and I just set up, we couldn't get electricity. My wife asked me to get someone down. I went to the security oficer. The man was from Florida. He came down cussing, ranting,raving.He said we didn't pay for a standard 120 volt outlet. The guy acted like he was drunk when we asked why the outlet wasn't hooked up? My wife was by our camper trying to get power, and he said we was using too much electricity. My wife was trying to get the electric on in the camper. He told her and I to get our camper out of there,threatened to do bodily harm to wife and I. He yanked the chord out of our outlet,caused the cord to slam into and put a dent in our camper. Ny wife said we wasn't leaving till we got our $120.00 back we paid just minutes earlier, for 6 nights camping. The security guard called his boss Eddie King. He came down there and told us to move the G--- thing. Again my wife said we are not leaving until our check is returned. Mr King said,Move the G---- thing or I will,move it myself with a back hoe.He called the police on us, because we wouldn't leave because he said,he wouldn't return our money.The police came and finally made them return our money. Out of this ordeal, mu wife who suffers from panic attacks,had a panic attack. She couldn't breath from hyperventilating. I had to call the ambulance squad, from Herrin to rush her to the emergency room. Thanks to their rudeness, threats, to bodily harm us, she wound up in the emergency room. They sat there all the time smirking, about the incident, while the Herrin police was there. I had to call my brother over from Carterville, to help me take that camper down in the dark, humid heat. Over this we had about $500.00 medical bills. They should be held liable for. This is the most cruel, rudest bunch of people, I have ever run into. They are the biggest liars and deceivers of any business around, Herrin,Ill. We wound up camping at Crab Orchard Lake campground which is a wonderdul, peaceful, place to camp.Beleive me,we do not recommend Four Seasons Campground to anyone! They are the biggest liars my wife,and I have ever ran into. If you want a vacation from Hell, go there. If you want a nice vacation with peace and quiet and no harassing, go anywhere but Four Seasons Campground,Herin,Ill.
