I have always been disgusted by the customer service at Hoffman's, just like most other customers, but for some reason I end up going back from time to time. Really only because of their large inventory.
This most recent time, I walked in during the early afternoon with a pocket full of cash and full intentions of purchasing a $1000 pistol they had in stock. I counted 5 customers, and 11 employees while I was standing at the counter waiting. I waited for 15 MINUTES and was completely ignored. No ""can I help you,"" or ""someone will be right with you."" So, like any self-respecting consumer I walked out and went down the street to give my business to another local dealer.
As if their instructors shooting themselves and negligent discharges inside the store weren't enough, their customer service really is as poor as people say. I only wish I could give them 0 stars.
