Review content:
I have received careless service from the staff at Drs. Goodman and Partridge from day one. Today was my final straw. It was confirmed by lab test that I was pregnant Friday, 1/25/2007. There were concerns because my hcg count was only at 18. On Sunday, I woke up at 5:30 am with severe hemorrhage. We called the emergency line for Drs. Goodman and Partridge and the operator paged the doctor on call. During the next two hours the operator called several times to see if the on-call doctor called us. At 7:30 am we received a call from Dr. Kothari. My husband spoke with her for less than a minute and she said that if I continued to hemorrhage that I should go to ER. Since I had been hemorrhaging for two hours I wasn't sure what she meant by her instructions, so I called her back. I explained to Dr. Kothari that I had been hemorrhaging for two hours and asked what she suggests I do. Dr. Kothari's first response was ""How did you get my phone number?? I was shocked that this would be her initial concern. I said to Dr. Kothari ""I don't know why they contacted you but that is really not important right now, I am the patient and I need help. If you have a problem with this, take it up with your office."" By this time my cramping had worsened and I was under a lot of stress, trying to keep it together and understand what was going on with my pregnancy. Dr. Kothari suggested that I go to the hospital and then went on to explain that she wasn't even the doctor on call. She kept going on about this while I was on the phone with her distraught about miscarrying my child. After the phone conversation with Dr. Kothari I was shocked by the unprofessional way she handled the situation. I went to the hospital where it was confirmed that I was no longer pregnant. Losing a pregnancy is tough enough to deal with and the absence of care that I received (and have received) from Dr. Kothari and others at Drs. Goodman and Partridge only contributed to the stress and pain of the situation. Pros: Advanced technology, on-time billing Cons: Careless, confused, disorganized
