Gumbo's is the place to be if you are looking for a nice seafood meal in Austin. When we arrived, we were seated promptly. I recommend requesting to sit upstairs. Ask to see the wine list. You will be impressed. The menu at Gumbo's is very extensive because they have just about anything you want. Their speciality is Cajun so be aware that your food could be spicy. I recommend the gumbos, the mahi mahi, and any blackened fish. This is definitely what Austin needed. Once done, you are just around the corner from Brown Bar.
