My husband and I were accepted into Lifetime's program after applying to a couple of other ""national"" programs. What I loved about Lifetime was that our adoption was about US as a couple, and about a birthmother choosing us.
Other places we called it seemed to be less warm and more business. We got care from everyone we ever talked to there, and we liked knowing that the birthmothers must feel the same way.
We didn't want to adopt from a ""business"" but from someone who could help us more like family. And Lifetime is definitely family now to us.
They talk a lot about a birthmother picking you for the right reasons, and this is so true. And we are so lucky we listened!! Our little guy will be 7 months soon and hopefully his adoption will be final a few days later.
