Review content:
I have to disagree with those reviewers who complained about the owner being 'snooty'. Last night I went in with a group of friends, about 12 of us, and while being younger, we've often gotten ""the look"" at some nicer restaurants, and that was NOT the case the other night. I thought we were treated very well, in fact. If those reviewers found THIS place intimidating, they likely haven't eaten out very much... the ambience is chic/cutting-edge, but homey and friendly, too.
Foodwise, a good menu with the ""fusion"" restaurant standards, but their specials add diversity and interest. Wine and martini lists = A+!
