My wife and I went to the Pit Stop (Formerly known as Kimi's) Resturaunt in Pontiac Illinois. We asked for (HOT) tea. The water that was brought to the table was luke warm which we did not discover until we had already put the tea into the cups. We informed the waitress and her reply was she could heat it up in the microwave. We did not want re-heated tea. We asked for the tea to be taken off the bill and the waitress along with the store owner replied "" You opened the tea bags and they cost us, we can not take them off your bill."" Now forgive me Lipton tea costs $3.29 per hundred at county market which would set the cost of each tea bag at 3.2 cents each. Now if the local resturaunt can not consume the loss of that expense what is really going on? Also English muffin there costs $2.10 each. County Market store is charging .89 per pack of six This makes each muffin cost about .15. It does not take $1.95 to heat the muffin in the toaster. I know there are overhead costs associated with running a business but lets be real. Pros: Nice atmosphere, Wireless internet available, Cons: Costs of some menu items, Waitress and owner's business attitude
