My niece was given keys to a apartment Colony Place through Ferrell Realty. She was told she could move in on Friday 9-24-11. We went to do some cleaning and went into the apartment. To say the apartment was filty is an understatement! I have 8 pictures. Roach eggs in the refrigerator, tub and bathroom. Stove filty, Floor looked like some sanding had been started but not finished. Walls dirty, sink dirty. Stove still had bread on the racks. I have never seen a apartment in this condition ever. Today we went to the office on 5th st. We spoke to the property manager Linda Baker. She was pretty unapologetic to the situation. my sister asked, did you do walkthrough's with the tenant's? She said no, she didn't have time. My sister showed her the pictures and asked if she could just go look at the apartment. She again seemed unintrested. This woman is a property manager! She basically told my niece they would have it cleaned by friday but she would not receive any new appliances. Take it or Not! She was so unprofessional. I asked to have the number of her boss and she refused to give it me. If you are thinking of moving here.....Don't! My niece is on low income and was treated that way, the property manager said in regards to the condition of the apartment, she has seen worst than that and that is how most people over there live. Pretty sad!
