With a young child, every parent goes through the trouble of finding a good pediatrician. I found one, but we NEVER got to see them. Appts were booked 6 mths out, if you had a sick child- forget it. After sitting in the waiting room of a local ""well known"" dr's office only to see a nurse and never a doctor I decided it was time to change practices. I had heard that a new Family Practice opened in Tega Cay and that Dr. Blackwell was well liked. I decided to give it a try. Almost 2 years later and he/they are still living up to their reputation. Dr. Blackwell and the staff are amazingly sweet and kind. Dr. Blackwell doesn't stop until he knows what is wrong. Dr.'s hours are a thing of the past. They will stay late to see you, call on weekends and at night to check on the sick patient. I am thrilled with my decision and have moved the entire family, plus plenty of friends and family I have referred, to the Tega Cay Peidmont Family Practice. If you have an infant, child, yourself, or your parents and need a change--- this should definitely be on your list of places to check out.
Pros: Excellent all around
Cons: They aren't open 24/7... but what dr is.
