The concept is brilliant. We loved going into the cafe and picking out neat pieces of pottery, picking the colors of paint we wanted to use, and enjoying a nice time painting and talking with friends. A few things I would advise the owner to work on are being able to get in touch with someone. That was one of the turnoffs to the business. I called on and off during their hours of operation for four days and repeatedly got the voicemail which tells you to NOT leave a message. Regardless of being out of town, the employees should be able to answer a phone call. Secondly, the young lady who was in there ""helping"" was not very friendly or helpful. She stayed on facebook the whole time and shrugged/rolled eyes when we would ask questions or need more paint. Lastly, at checkout, they ASK for a tip; ""If you could, fill in the tip line, bottom line and sign your name"" and continue to stand there and stare while you fill it out making you feel obligated to leave money for a worker who didn't even want to help. Inside the tip jar, it says their manager doesn't pay them well. For a business to be advertising these issues is very inappropriate. I did have fun regardless of those three critiques, but will not be returning to their place of business.
