Ok, you will know this review is real because I have to admit some very embarrassing facts in order to prevent you from getting ripped of the way I did. This place is a total scam. Here's the story. I had just broken up with my boyfriend in 2008 and I was really upset so I went in and saw Cynthia for a reading. In the reading it came up that I had just been through a break up (I was crying at the time, it was pretty obvious) and Cynthia told me that this guy was my soul mate and he and I were meant to be together but there was something wrong with my energy, some kind of blockage, that was keeping me from my destiny of being together with my soul mate and she told me that she could do energy work to fix it for $2,500 and then my ex-boyfriend would come back to me. That is crazy ridiculous money for me and I told Cynthia that I didn't have it. She told me that if I really wanted my ex-boyfriend back that I would find a way to come up with the money. I was desperate at the time so we negotiated down to $1,500 which was pretty much the whole amount of money I had been paid in severance from a job I had just lost. So I gave her pretty much every penny that I had. She gave me a crystal and said she bought some candles that she needed to do the energy work and she said shortly my boyfriend would come back to me. Weeks went by, my ex-boyfriend and I had to be in a little bit of communication in order to deal with some of the administrative stuff that comes along with a break up, but there was no sign of him coming back to me. So I called Cynthia and told her I didn't think her energy work had worked because my ex-boyfriend was showing no signs of wanting to get back together. I asked her when it would happen. She said she couldn't tell me when. I asked her if she could at least tell me if it would be days, weeks, months or years and she said weeks. About 6 months of radio silence went by and I popped back into the shop to let Cynthia know that we hadn't gotten back together and she assured me that her energy work will work and he would come back to me. Years went by and I would drop in occasionally to let her know that it still hadn't happened (at this point I was dropping by less because I believed it would work some day and more to get her to admit that I had wasted my money). She continued to assure me for three and a half years that this man and I would get back together, even after he got engaged she told me that he would not marry her and that he and I would get back together. Even though I was moving on with my life and dating other people I always had this in the back of my head. My ex-boyfriend just got married at the end of last year. So, not only was Cynthia at Psychic D Gallery absolutely wrong, she manipulated me into wasting $1,500 and she also contributed to wasting years of my life by continuing to assure me that this person, my soul mate, was coming back to me. I cannot stress this strongly enough: Do not go to Psychic D Gallery. The only thing that will happen is that you will get totally and completely ripped off, if not worse. p.s. I'm very embarrassed about sharing this story but it is the price I am paying in order to potentially prevent the same from happening to you!
