Review content:
Brown's barbecue is the best barbecue you will ever eat! The sides are fantastic as well. There are actually 3 restaurants owned by the Brown family. The original is in Kingstree, SC, which is quite a haul from Charleston. Momma Brown's is fantastic and in nearby Mount Pleasant - only a short drive across the bridge from Charleston. BUT - if you have some extra time and are headed out to Cypress Gardens or Mepkin Abbey during your stay (both well worth the drive!) then try A&M Browns in Moncks Corner. Same basic barbecue, but in my opinion, just a little bit better!!! YUMMY!!!
