My father was in New York after 9/11. He work in a Disaster Relief kitchen. His group made meals for workers and others who needed them. A few of his group decided to eat out one night. They asked a ""local"" where was a good place to get pizza. The first name out of their mouth was Lombardi's. They told him the location was neat, the staff fantastic, and the pizza was heavenly. They gave it a try and LOVED it!!! They recommended it to all the other workers in their group. My dad isn't a pizza person, but he hasn't stopped talking about to this day. I was impressed with his being impressed. If we order a pizza, he says ""I wish we were at Lombardi's"". I have recommended Lombardi's to several friends who have visited New York. They all have the same response - WONDERFUL!!!!
Pros: Atmoshpere friendly, Staff outstanding, food out of this world
