Review content:
I felt like part of a cattle call when I arrived. A high school aged gal was managing the ?hostess stand? when I arrived and I was so put off when my initial welcome was more about ?when is your appointment? rather then ?Welcome to our overcrowded little shop.? I was taken upstairs to the bridal area where I met my best friend who was about to try on her first gown. She was full of bliss?this is one of the exciting elements of planning a wedding. Picking the dress with your mom and best friend is a delight. And my best friend had an appointment with the shop?s best ? I think her name was Cathy. My friend came out with dress after dress and I gave her an honest up and down vote on each one? love it, or it doesn?t flatter your figure. Cathy wanted to make a sale so bad and was clearly irritated when I compared her dresses to gowns we had tried on in other stores. Finally, Cathy pulled me aside and told me I needed to stop being so opinionated and let my friend pick her own dress? and she was not polite about it. I obliged and stopped giving my normal ?yes? and ?no? votes to the dresses, and as soon as we left the salon, my friend asked what happened when Cathy pulled me aside. I told her, and she was appalled. She decided not to use the shop for ANY of her wedding needs.
Pros: many dresses (too many - it is crowded)
Cons: terrible service
