My fiance and I stopped here for an early dinner wanting to avoid the ""club crowd"" but still partake of a tasty burger. I would suggest eating here only if you came for the party and need something resembling food to absorb alcohol content. The chicken fried steak I ordered was a frozen reheated patty, served with frozen french fries and frozen fried okra. The salad was wilted browned iceberg with a slice of tomato and bagged pre-grated cheese on top. Like I said, it was bad. My fiance said you could bet on the fact that that burger went clank as it's frozenness landed on the grill. As an aside, I think the cook did the best he could with the ingredients he was given to work with.... the cream gravy was well made and you could tell s/he had tried to season up the fries. The sign outside said ""Voted best burger of 2007"" - my question was who voted? And was it before or after last call? I am very sad because I wanted this place to be good. The place just screams authentic honkey tonk bar and grill. Someone else needs to review the bar aspect because I can't handle cigarette smoke... but it does look like it has great potential. They have a dance floor, a nice looking stage for a band, a separate DJ booth and what looks like plenty of seating. There is pool tables and arcade games. I can imagine that it is a great dance hall and if it weren't for the smokiness, I would love to check out the live country bands. The waitress was friendly and helpful although she knew nothing about the food... she admitted that she normally just worked the bar - but she was willing to go to the cook and find answers for our questions.
