My daughter has been riding for 3 years at another barn in a different state. She understands riding, horses and jumping courses. The only thing the instructor did was have her walk and trot for 85% of the lesson. The instructor was texting as she was ""instructing"". The lesson started 20 minutes late (for a 30 minute lesson). After three lessons, she had her try two ""X"" jumps.
These lessons are geared for those who just want to try and ride a horse, not for someone who's truly interested in riding and progressing as a rider.
