Review content:
I donated a truckful of items to the Salvation Army and a worker that helped load the boxes in the truck accidentally included several boxes of my personal possessions that had been packed up at my house after a flood. I immediately called this facility and told them what had happened and they refused to allow me to come and pick up my possessions. They told me that once the items cross their property line, it belongs to them. I had personal family possessions and items that were left to me by my deceased mother and some very valuable items. I called them several times and was shocked at how rude the manager was and how she had no feelings at all that this was a huge mistake and I needed to retrieve the items that were not meant to be donated. When I had someone show up first thing the next Monday morning to try and retrieve some of the items, one of the employees had taken some of the boxes home and sifted through them and only brought back my family pictures. I am shocked and broken hearted over losing these items and can't believe these people have the nerve to say they are Christians. This has been a devasting experience for me. Every year I generously donate to the Salvation Army but will never, ever do it again. I don't know how these people can sleep at night.
