Review content:
I was looking for a local preofessional to repair my spa and was referred to Jon by a server at a local restaraunt where he leaves his magnetic cards. I called the number and got a voice asking for my info. No company name, no personal name. I gave my name, number and why I called. The next day he called me asking who I was and why I called.
I explained that my thermostat was not working and right out of the gate he said that would probably be over $300 just for the part if we had to replace it. I had already checked online for thermostat ($15-$30). But perhaps he thought I ment the heating element.
I asked if he could come by take a look and give me his opinion. He replied that there were no free estimates and that his fee for travel and inpsection would be $65.
I let him know I would probably be going with another company from out of town who quoted coming in from 40-miles to inspect for $70. He suddenly wanted to know who it was? and what town? I will let the server know about Jon.
PS... I just checked the price of a heating element ($35-$140) You've been warned.
