I absolutely LOVE Mark at Certified Marine!!! My family and friends have been bringing our boats to him for years, he is probably the best mechanic I've ever dealt with. I wish he was a car mechanic too so I could bring all my vehicles to him. First off, he has been in the business since 1981 and knows his stuff when it comes to boats. When I go to him for sumerizing/ winterizing and whatever in between problems I have with my boat, I know he won't BS me about things that don't need to be taken care. He's also a part dealer, so that means you get the price around without the middle man fee. Sometimes there is a little bit of a wait to have your boat done and that's because EVERYONE knows to bring their boats to him. You get quality service and great prices from a family owned business. So, either bring your boat in early or be patient and know you'll have a boat working all summer long. Other reviews have said they brought their boat in a couple days before the 4th and had to wait a week. Hello! 4th of July weekend? Seafair? Doesn't everyone want a working boat during those weekends?! That's kind of the same thing as expecting to be your skiing/snowboarding equipment to be tuned during peak season and expecting be on the mountain the next day! You can't really give a bad review on a business doing such a good job that they are so busy. Besides, its never the mechanic's fault that you don't know how to take care of your own boat to where you bust the starter or blow up your engine from playing around in the weeds.
