Review content:
Luis and I recently went on a family vacation to The Welk Resort in San Diego. It all came about because someone we knew had purchased vacation ownership there and then they gave them our information. The Welk's marketing department contacted us and offered us a great package for super cheap and all we had to do in return was sit in on a 90 minute sales presentation. We have done this a few times with other companies so we were familiar with it. At first, it sounded a little to good to be true so we were a little skeptical but we went for it anyways. We even got to go during peak season. We added on a few extra days at the going nightly rate, so we stayed a total of 5 nights down there. That was plenty of time for us to decide if this was something for us. The Resort is absolutely amazing and there is so much to do there. There are water slides for the kids, fishing ( catch and release ), golf, several pools and spas ( even an adult's only secret spa ), a market, theater, bbq's, fire pits, 3 recreation centers for the kids to enjoy and so much more. Don't hold me 100% accountable for being exactly accurate on all the stuff to do there, we do not work for them, we were only guests.
