I cam to Anita in March of 2001. I had been living with an autoimmune issue that the western doctor's could not figure out. I had been living in Taipei in 1991. Overnight I went from feeling great to having tingling numbess of the whole right side of my body (from head to toe). It became progressively worse and started manifesting into soreness all over. I couldn't walk more than 3 blocks without my right side swelling up and the sound of marbles going around in my head. I was skeptical at first - in fact waited 6 months from the time a friend recommended I go to her. Once I went I responded quite quickly to the acupuncture treatments. My aches and pain were mostly gone after the first treatment. My numbness and tingling eventually went away with additional treatments. She also pushed a diet change - no more diet pepsi for breakfast. I now go in for periodic tuneups. I have also learned enough about acpuncture to know when a particular chi channel is weak and immediately make an appointment. Anita is very warm as well as extremely bright. I highly recommend Anita if you have not been able to get satisfactory treatment through western medicine. Anita believes in the 2 working together and I have become a believer as well.
