Emily Wilk is simply the best - let me tell you why.
I moved to NYC from NC and as you may imagine, the housing situation and everything about the rental process is completely different.
I found Emily online and we started talking several weeks before I came to NYC to start my search. When I finally arrived she had a plethora of apartments for me to look at (I wanted to see a good number to ensure I knew my options) that fit the specifications I'd provided.
Honestly, when we first started looking the process felt remotely overwhelming simply because the size difference from my NC home to a NYC is insanely different. Emily was right by my side and helped me through the process - I'm not exactly sure I can explain how helpful she was.
Emily made me feel as though she had my best interest at heart and took the time to explain the pros and cons about certain areas and buildings. NYC is a beast and the real estate market is insane... but that being said, Emily was right there to help me every step of the way.
I only had two days to find a place and through her research of the market and understanding of my needs, Emily helped me find my first NYC apartment - that I love.
I highly recommend her and wish you the best of luck in finding your next (or first) apartment in the city.
