Please avoid going here! I'm new to the area and this office was close to where I lived and I didn't take time to read any reviews. My husband and I both received an exam by Dr. Gerig. Dr. Gerig seemed knowledgeable about what we needed, however the office staff... where do I begin. I have been in this office 4 times (picking up glasses, contacts, dealing with staff, etc.) Everytime the staff was extremely rude and incompetent! They knew little to nothing about insurance. Joe even admitted that he does not know anything about insurance regarding contacts. He would have someone call me next week! I work in insurance so I looked up my benefits prior to going. They seemed to have a different understanding of how benefits work. I ended up having to call my insurance company to work out the issues as the office staff could not do it themselves. If you have insurance and you are looking for a long term provider, I strongly recommend not wasting your time with these incompetent, unexperienced, and extremely rude people.
