My wife and I just moved into the San Antonio area and went to see Dr. Murdoch on the recommendation of a friend. Being a physician myself, I was extremely dissappointed with the experience. My wife, probably like many who are looking for an OB, suffers through tough pregnancies. In her first, she had hyperemesis until the 20th week of pregnancy. This time, we hoped for expediancy at our appointment. Well, that certainly did not happen. It took a full one hour and 30 minutes to see Dr. Murdoch and two hours until we were out of the office. Our appointment was before 9 in the morning and there were no emergencies so it made the wait even more unacceptable. In addition to all this, there were no apologies for keeping us waiting, and the staff, starting with the front office (at the stone oak office) to the nurse seem to be less than helpful or for that matter, friendly. To Dr. Murdoch's credit, she did seem very knowledgeable and competent in what she does. Pros: Dr. Murdoch seemed competent Cons: Terrible office staff/nurse and long waiting times
