I haven't even gotten my tvmax set up yet, and I already hate it. When I first called, they said that my wait to get it set up was just under 2 weeks. Ok, great, that sucks, but i can get past that. Then they call about a week later and say that ""the technician is on the way to your house to set up your package"". I get excited and wait for about an hour and a half. NO ONE SHOWS UP. So, frustrated, I call the customer service number (which is quite possibly the worst in the country) and proceed to wait 35 minutes on hold because ""all of their lines are busy"". When I finally get on the phone with a real person (who was, surprisingly, very nice), she informs me that there is no explanation for why I got the call earlier and that they will not be able to set up my cable until the following monday (note: it is Tuesday today, a week after I ordered the servie). Needless to say, if my apartment building didn't have this shitty deal with tvmax, I would get another service, AND I still might switch to directTV. TvMax is AWFUL. DO NOT GET IT
