Review content:
Trio Evanston is hands-down the best salon I have been too--professional without pretense. I've been to lots of other ""first-rate salons"" in Boston, Michigan, and Amsterdam, but most of them have been expensive factories. My experiences at Trio have been consistently positive and worth every penny. Curly-haired or wavy-haired girls should definitely ask for Robyn, who has a way of transforming my long natural curls into perfect ringlets. And she does it without overloading on products, because she really knows how to cut and style thick, curly hair. Whatever issues I have with my hair when I walk into the salon, Robyn always knows the remedy. Barbara, my colorist, is also fabulous! She lightens my dark brown hair without making me look like a blonde. She really does a great job weaving the color in so that it looks natural, but noticeable. I *highly* recommend both Robyn and Barbara.
Pros: The service is great, and they play great music.
Cons: Watch out for parking tickets on the side streets in the area.
