I started to going to Trio a couple of years ago after another well-known salon in Evanston had improperly bleached my hair and caused it to break off at the back. I started working with Barbara, who worked closely with me not just on getting my color to just the shade I like but also on rebuilding my hair's condition. The difference between my hair then and my hair now is often commented on by people I know - even one of my longtime guy friends, who is not really into fashion or beauty, told me after not seeing me for a few months how much better condition my hair was in! I have had to keep my hair short for a long time because it was in such bad condition, but now I have been able to grow it out to well past my shoulders.
The overall experience at Trio is really unmatched - there is always someone friendly to help you make an appointment and greet you at the door. I am treated more like a longtime friend than just a client. I always look forward to my appointments - it also doesn't hurt that Barbara is a big hockey fan like me and we can have a lot of Blackhawks chat when I go!! I really recommend going to see her at Trio for anyone who is looking for a new colorist.
