Review content:
My mom was placed in this facility after back surgery for PT and rehab. The nurses and CNAs did not get her out of bed often enough. Ended up with pneumonia and UTI and back into emergency room. Mom is a diabetic and the meals provided were high in carbs. Their philosophy on sugar level control was feed high carbs and just give an injection of insulin. When I talked to the director of food services, he had no clue how carbs and sugar level controls work. Nurses yelled at me and Dad for questioning her care and the food. Nurses were upset with having to provide narcotic dispensing for pain control. It was a very bad 5.5 days.
Pros: clean, friendly staff on first appearance
Cons: poor rehab care, poor diet for diabetics
