I visited the Mission Oak Grill last Saturday night with a few friends and have a new favorite place to meet for dinner and drinks! This place is in an old church but once on the inside, you could be at a hip city restaurant without hurting your wallet! This place was busy but the atmosphere was fun and lively. We had a drink at the bar while we waited a reasonable 20 minutes for a table. Once seated - our server greeted us quickly and got us going with some more drinks as we browsed the menu. I liked the variety on the menu from seafood to steaks and I love that the food all had some interesting flair to it. All of the dishes my friends and I ordered were incredibly delicious wit h fresh ingredients. There were many ""oos and ahhs"" as we consumed our meals. We finished with shared desserts for the table and some dessert wine recommended by our server. Everything about this place is great and I highly recommend people driving to Newburyport just to check this place out. As my friends and I left the restaurant, we were full and satisfied and truly felt the great food and atmosphere was close to a religious experience! Holy deliciousness!
