Review content:
I was diagnosed with an eating disorder as a scared and confused teenager, and can honestly say that if it weren?t for Erin, I would have continued to let that part of me define my personality. With Erin?s help, over the past three years I have grown into a more secure, flexible, and happy individual, and for that I will be forever grateful. From the first meeting, Erin seemed to understand and sympathize with my struggle, even when I could not. I remember leaving my first session with her terrified of the food-related challenges ahead but inspired to work hard to achieve them. She pushed me to my limits, encouraging me to counter the voice of my very stubborn eating disorder with a healthier, more rational voice. She showed me that I can enjoy food again despite whatever guilt or uneasiness eating may bring me, and It is hard for me to express how lucky I feel to have found her.
