Let me say right off the bat that I don't endorse products as a matter of course. I'm an attorney, and a litigator, so I don't get the benefit of business casual. I have to wear suits a lot. When I buy a suit, not only does it need to look good, it needs to take a lot of wear and tear, because I put a lot of miles on it. I'm 36 years old and I'm starting to outgrow the "whatever's handy" mentality that put my through my early years of practicing law. When I got married in July, I got referred to 1800 Tuxedos dot com in Bay Ridge. Pat Corso, the owner, was extremely friendly and professional. It turned out that he had a big selection of custom suits available. I bought a chocolate brown pinstripe suit and a black pinstripe suit from Pat, had a fitting, and picked everything up a week later. I had bought a custom suit before a few years ago, but the tailor wasn't particularly helpful, and I ended up getting a suit that was 30 years too old for me and 30 years out of date. When I put that suit on, I felt like I was should be drinking a big Gibson martini with the cocktail onion and talking about how plastics were the wave of the future. Worse still, the suit didn't hang off of me, and when I gained ten pounds, the pants split like I was one of the Three Stooges. After buying in department stores and looking like a slob for a few years, I was ready to take a chance, and I lucked out with Pat. The suits drape off my body and every time I wear them, some woman says "wow, you lost weight!" I actually put on weight since I was fitted for them but the suits are still comfortable and not constricting like the half closet of JC Penney stuff that I can't wear anymore. Finally, Pat's prices can't be beat. Period. I spent more on department store suits than I did for these custom ones and those department store suits were a waste. I will only wear those suits again when I need to paint a room. Pros: Great Quality Suits, Excellent Customer Service, Low Prices Cons: Parking
