My son's recommended treatment plan was $3200. Went to a second dentist that would work with us on the dental insurance (meaning not have to pay 100% up front and be reimbursed later) and found out that all he really needs to do is brush more often, floss really well and use ACT. There were no actual cavities to fill. Cost today: $0.00. Cost for upcoming visit: $35. Cost at Walmart: $10.00. Go figure. I'll take the savings and carefully follow up.
Pros: plush office, nice folks
Cons: costly recommendations, DIY insurance paperwork
