Review content:
Although they do also show a great array of area and national artists, one of the things that really distinguishes Frey Norris from other SF galleries is their long standing commitment to contemporary art coming out of Asia. Before Chinese art became an international sensation in the marketplace, Frey Norris was already there, giving many Chinese artists their debut in American exhibitions. The gallery's annual group show dedicated to Asian artists (on view at the time of this writing) is a must see, and you may discover someone before they're on the cover of Artforum.
