Review content:
My wife and I decided to go out the on the island peach picking. We had seen an add for Davis Peach Farm in the paper and decided to check it out. When we got there we say about 100 signs that said No Strollers, No Diaper Bags, No Pocket Books, No cameras, No Knives, No Weapons, All bags subject to search, etc. etc. There were flood lights on all fhe fence posts. My wife and I thought this was very strange. The place looked like a concentration camp. Why would they not allow cameras?? The owners of this place must be paranoid lunatics. After talking with the snotty woman, about the 10$ minimum, we asked if the peaches were ripe and what the conditions were. I got the feeling the woman was being less than honest when she said all the peaches were ripe. We had seen Lewins farms on the way in to Davis and decided to try that instead, so we left without going in to Davis. The guy working at Lewins was very nice to us. We had a fun time and got a bunch of great peaches. I see no reason to ever go to Davis Peach Farm again. I can't believe they are still in business running their peach orchard like a prison.
Pros: None I can think of
Cons: Paranoid, No cameras or diaper bags, Workers are nasty.
