My only compliment about Onyx is that they have some of the trendy styles available, which can be difficult to find elsewhere in Roanoke (ex: feathers). However, their customer service SUCKS. I had to book several weeks in advance for a stylist, they are poor communicators, and they do not listen to instructions. (Every single time I went, I asked for NO HAIR PRODUCTS to be put in my hair and every single time I went home with a pound of product in my hair.) Their colorist are awful and have no clue what they're doing. Also, Rusk color (especially in brunette hues) is the worst I've experienced. It fades quickly and looks dull even when using color-safe products. Also, for the money, the salon looks good from a distance but trashy close up.
