If you are looking for authentic Indian Food this place is tops. They even have Vegetarian Mulligatawny soup!! And it is excellent. This place is so reasonably priced and the servers are so nice and accommodating. Each order is made for your own specific taste. They ask you if you want your food prepared mild medium or spicy. I went here on a whim last night and was so impressed I wanted to go back for lunch today!! The only difficult thing is the location. It is on Sepulveda across from Whole Foods at a very busy intersection. However, there is parking in the back though which you can get to via Dickens St. I didn't know that until after the fact. There is a cluster of restaurants on that block. I really enjoyed dining at The Heart Of India, excellent food, nice servers and a nice yet comfortable atmosphere! I will be going back soon!
