I went to Lucy's cake shop expecting the best cake and service since I always hear good remarks about it and see the long lines awaiting cake pick-ups. I ordered a tres leche cake for my son's birthday party. When everyone first saw the cake, they all thought it was so pretty and looked yummy. Then next comes the slicing of the cake. When you cut into the cake, it was more frosting than cake! Almost everyone had to rub some of the frosting off. Then the taste and texture of the cake. The texture was very soggy midway through the cake, as if it had been sitting out too long. The flavor was bland. The frosting, to some of the guest, tasted as if it was almost sour. Not one of our guest to the party said anything positive about the cake. It was definetely not worth the time or money. It was the first and last time going to Lucy's cake shop!
