I have a Schwinn Midtown. I was having a problem with the front derailleur. Upon seeing that my bike wasn?t an expensive one the repair guy was already acting smug. He told that the derailleur could only be adjusted and wouldn?t work perfect after the adjustment. It was working exactly the same after the ?adjustment? as when I wheeled it in to the shop. In a snobby smug way the guy told me that because it was a department store bike it couldn?t be fixed. I took my bake across town to (Bare Bikes) and they had me sorted out in half an hour with no smugness. My bike works great.
