Review content:
I hate to burst everyone's bubble here, but Mulberry Street's pizza is just okay. I'm surprised at all the rave reviews--I do like the atmosphere and the NY Posts on the counter, but as far as the pizza goes, it's just another of LA's bafflingly poor attempts to recreate a slice that can be found on practically every street corner in NYC and Philadelphia. Is it bad? No. But is it ""awesome"" or even ""so good?"" Hardly. Obviously these reviewers haven't taken their tastebuds East for a while. Go, have fun, read Page Six, but if your hopes are too high, prepare to say ""eh.""
Pros: Authentic atmosphere and reading material.
Cons: Yet another of LA's average pies.
