Review content:
We got to the hotel earlier than expected- About three hours earlier than check in. We were a bit concerned this could be an issue, but the little gal at the front desk was awesome and had us in a room within minutes. Our room was clean and very nice. The view of the river rocked- especially in the morning! The bonus was the KILLER cookies. The only negative that I can really speak of was the beyond slow service of the kitchen and also in the dining room. The food is- well- typical hotel food. Not worth the money. It took about a half an hour to get a pot of coffee up to our room. When we ate in the dining room for breakfast, there was no one else in there and it took about 40 minute to get an omelet. Geesh! I thought maybe they were waiting for a hen to lay the egg. I guess it would be guaranteed fresh if they did, eh? Over all, we had a great time and was treated well. Definitely a great place to stay... Just go out for food. ;)
Pros: clean, nice and great cookies
Cons: slow kitchen service
