Review content:
My wife and I love the new look, we had not been to DiCicco's in five years, since coming back by request of our friends, WE ARE HOOKED! I remember a flat tasting homemade bread now their ciabatta bread is fantastic, the red sauce has a sweeter taste not that bitter taste that I recall. I heard that the accordion player was still there on Saturdays but the new owners added a mandolin player on Fridays, that I wanted to see and did. He sat by the lobby and played the mandolin all evening, no singing nor strolling, just beautiful music (great job on this one to the owners). Very interesting talking with the new owners regarding the positive changes both inside and outside, they are a friendly couple that have a passion to make sure that the guest has a good dinning expierence. It's fun to watch the staff smiling and having a great time as they serve us. You still get alot of food so I would not make the mistake of filling up on the bread, as I did only once. Another nice thing that was helpful to me was the wine list, they put in tasting notes, this was a big help to me. Whatever Rick and Allisons plans are for the future changes I know they will be positive, people like these two will keep this landmark going and improve our dinning expierence! THANK YOU and your staff!
Pros: The staff, owners and the food, Mandolin adds a romantic side
Cons: parking, busy nights your in the lot next door
