If you're staying in Troutdale, this is definitely the place to eat. When we checked into our hotel we ask the young desk clerk to recommend something better than the truck stop cafes and fast food along the frontage road. We were real pleased with Tad's Chick Dump. I guess we missed the summer crowds, since it was a Sunday evening. That may be the trick. Our meal was unhurried and tasty. The view of the Sandy River was gorgeous. We will definitely stop here again, if we're in the area.

Cons: off the main road, not cheap
