I tried the bland tasteless paste they try to pass off as chicken 'n dumplings once. HOWEVER! Maybe it was just a bad night, so I decided to try it one more time. This time I went for the pan fried oysters - they were over-cooked (and really looked as though they'd been deep fried), the relish tray was stale featuring limp celery. The salad was limp. My friend had the chicken livers and mushroom gravy - the livers were tasteless the gravy was horrible... and the service! Forget about it! What service we got was minimal. It was as if we were an annoyance getting in the way of whatever it is the staff does. YUCK - NEVER EVER AGAIN! Items on the menu are WAY overpriced for they way they're ruined what may have been perfectly good food. A really nasty place, great view of the river though.
Pros: Great river view, Beautiful drive out
Cons: Worst food ever, Way over-priced, Lousy service
