Review content:
I love a good burger, but they are hard to find. Hunters Ridge has juicy, tasty hamburgers that make a super lunch or dinner. Service when I've been (mostly lunch) has always been attentive and speedy. The other dishes have always been good as well. The salads are great - the toasted hazelnuts are a nice touch. And the wine list has a great selection of local wines at reasonable prices. The space is beautiful - very secluded and gorgeous dining room, yet casual enough that I don't feel uncomfortable if I wear jeans or if I skipped shaving that morning! To my mind, Hunters Ridge is the only place in Sherwood that strikes the balance between quality, service, and price -- while still being casual enough that I can go there without planning ahead. And when we've had the 2 year-old in tow, she is welcomed - which is important to a parent.
Update: Never mind. They went out of business.
Pros: Burgers, burgers, burgers - and wine list
Cons: Parking lot can be kind of crowded - narrow spaces and a bit of walk to restaurant.
