On september 11th, my sister and I went to Canby Transmission to get her car checked out (for free) because it was making a nasty sound. We just wanted to know what was wrong with it. So my sister gave the guy at the front desk her keys and he drove it around back. Then the guy that had checked it out came to the front and told the other guy that it is leaking from the axle housing and one of the bearings inside is bad, so it would need an overhaul. We got an estimate from the guy and then left. It estimated between $1,000-$1,200. If that wasn't bad enough. On Sunday the 14th, my sister was cleaning her car out and she was moving some cd's in her door pocket when out dropped the lever for the hood of the car that they had obviously broke off and did not bother telling her. So she called right away and left them a message telling them what happened. They got back to my sister on monday the 15th and told her they didn't know who was working on her car that day and to bring in the paper work. We go over there to try and resolve the problem. And the owner said can I help you and my sister told him what was going on and he asked the other guy who had worked on her car and he said the name so the owner went to talk to him. The owner came out and said that the guy admitted it, so he told my sister to go get one and we will put it on for you. Then he proceeded to tell my sister that she was lucky she didn't get charged the first time ( even though it was a free estimate). He was rude and cocky. I wil never go back there. And neither should anyone else. If you don't want your stuff broken.
Cons: Rude people
