About 6 weeks ago, I made an appointment at Top Notch Tattoo. First impressions are everything. I should have known this was going to be a poor experience. Even though the artist Luke completely picked apart everything about my concept, tel ling me how he did not like it and wanted to change it... I left with the understanding that he would re-draw it, but keep it similar. Today at 4pm I went in for my appointment. The drawing that Luke in came up with looked absolutely nothing like the concept I gave him. He told me to not think so literally about the piece I wanted on my body forever. While he was rude, disrespectful, and would not compromise on anything... I finally asked for my deposit back and left. This upset me enough, as I was disappointed... but what really upset me is that after I walked out, my friend was still in the shop looking at stuff when Luke decided to say in front of my friend, other customers, and his artists that I was a ""Bitch"" and he should have ""punched me in the face"" and another artist responded with ""or the vagina"" He continued on to bash me, my art work, and promote violence towards women. I highly recommend to all of my friend and family to NEVER go to TOP NOTCH TATTOO'S in Elgin, IL. Especially Luke, who by the way is the OWNER!!! I can not believe how unprofessional, disrespectful and out right rude he was. Please spread the word!!!
